TGE Power Facility redefines how urban power plants integrate with the environment and surrounding community.  Sensitive to its surroundings, the design would provide community space, a monitor museum, and waterfront access.  Technical features include gas-fired black-start electric generators, photovoltaic solar collectors providing an average output of 600 KW, rainwater runoff reuse, and extensive use of sustainable materials and finishes.  Reprocessed effluent co-generated steam would replace the city’s water-to-steam system.
